5. Pressure Driven Flow in a Pipe & Challenge Problem (9 min)

Consider flow in an annular pipe as show in the figure above. Fluid flow is caused by moving an inner solid rod, which has a constant velocity, V. Derive the general solution to the velocity profile for this problem (equation 6.17 in your textbook). Apply the appropriate boundary conditions to determine the particular velocity profile. One lucky student will be selected to present the solution to this problem in class.
